2/3 hermit crabs coming out of shell!!!

I really need help! Out of my three hermit crabs are two (Bob and Shelly) are coming out of their shell. Fred isn't though. I really need help quickly.

You need to reshell them.

If they will not stay in a shell, they are most likely dying. Since you haven't had them long and haven't been able to make the upgrades suggested, it is probably PPS.

Rinse the shells in dechlorinated fresh water and slide the crabs abdomens into the shells.

Can you fill these out when you get a chance? Or link a thread where you have?

There absolutely must be a reason one way or the other what is your current humidity and temp? And what kind of tank do you have. When I first bought my sons hermit crabs they came in a horrible critter cage I was told it was greatthey could run and play but my baby baby E humped out of his shell on the drive home and died :( I completely blame it on the horrible conditions I had been convinced were optimal living conditions which they most definitely are not

whoops. They both were actually cleaning their inside of the shells. Just figured that they clean their inside and outside of shells today! thanks for the help though.
