Brown Liquid

Post by Hkurtz » Sat Oct 01, 2016 9:38 am

We found my son's hermit crab sitting in a giant puddle of brown liquid. He is alive, he does not smell like fish but rather an earthy smell. We did recently change his food. Not sure what the issue is and what we should do? Thanks!!

Hi, I'm sorry to hear about your crab! :( If you could fill out the emergency template we can get an idea of your tank conditions and care methods. This does seem like an odd death.. I'm not sure what could have caused liquid... Other than maybe rotting? Iink: http://www.hermitcrabassociation.com/ph ... hp?t=46102
