Hi I’m new here & I have a question
I’ve been taking care of two crabs that my grandsons brought back from vacation in July. This is our first go at taking care of crabs. One crab dug down Jan 1st & he just resurfaced today Feb 8. The other crab went down into the hole the first came out of. My question is whats up with that? Is he just investigating or is going to molt in the same place? Thx in advance for any insight you may have.

He could be curious or he could go down and molt! Crabbies do whatever they want and leave us guessing! Congratulations on a successful molt!

I can’t believe I just stopped worrying about one crab molting & now I will worry about another...lol. My grandson is happy his crab made it through his molt now I have to let the other grandson know it’s his crabs turn.
