Injury or shell rot?

Post by MissFrost » Mon Feb 22, 2016 3:45 pm

Newly adopted crab has a damaged looking BP. It has a dent in it, and some discoloration. What is this and what should I do, if anything?

Probably an injury of some sort. It will repair with the next molt. Nothing special to do in the meantime. Just provide optimal conditions and foods to promote health.

Good to know! I'm really, REALLY glad that it's just an old injury. Thanks for the quick response. :)
