orange eyestalks?

Post by bbcraft22 » Tue Aug 23, 2016 6:56 am

My biggest hermit crab has orange eyestalks. Is that bad? Because he is my most active and fastest hermit crab.

Hermit crabs come in so many colors I doubt that there is any issues with the crab. Purple pincers can range from blue and purple, to yellow, orange and red. Some are even white or nearly black looking. Ecuadorian crabs range widely in color as do most other species. Diet and nutrition affect exoskeletons so I wouldn't be concerned with orange eye stalks. What species is the crab?

I wouldn't think anything is wrong with your pp. Just has pretty orange eye stalks. That may change with molts. I'd love to see a pic if possible
