Diet with Molters

Post by avocadocrabbies » Mon May 04, 2020 10:45 am

Currently all of my crabs are molting, so nobody is eating. I know it is standard to keep providing food and clean water, but I usually provide dry food on the first level and fresh food (fruit, veggies, eggs, fish, etc) on the second level. I have to change the fresh food daily, unlike the dry food which is 2-3 days (unless they get moldy), and it's a hassle especially if the crabs aren't eating it. Should I just cut the fresh food out of their diet until a crab resurfaces? I'll can continue their nutritious dry food diet in the meantime in case a crab comes up for some air.
four crabbies: Pool Guy, Karen, Hurricane Sandy, Igor- 3 PPs and an E :)

Yes, you can cut back on what’s offered if everyone’s underground.
