Baking Sand Eco Earth Mix?

How long and at what temp do I bake sand and EE mix after it has been sitting unused in a small tank for about 3 months. If I even should?

I wouldn't think you'd have to. Not unless there were mites/bugs in there before and you want to make sure they're gone. Image
