What is this bug?

Post by $ Phil » Wed Oct 03, 2018 9:08 pm

Does anyone have any idea what this bug is? It's fairly fast for its size, no flying or jumping. Seems to resemble a beetle to me. I've kinda got an infestation and am a bit concerned. This is the best pic I could get really, you can see how small they are. Thanks.Image

It looks like a springtail of some sort. These guys are very beneficial and will eat waste and even mold!

Thank you. That makes me feel better. I was thinking springtails jump so I didn't consider them. I looked everywhere online and couldn't find anything that looks like these.
