Hey, @marandashermies! I tried to find the store where you ordered your awesome cholla, missy's corner on eBay and the only thing coming up is Missy's Country Corner (and when I click it, it says it can't find it). Is that is, or is it different? Thanks!

no, it should be just Missy's corner. Just Type in cholla wood and tons of different listing will come up.

I got our cholla from bear paws arts and crafts from Etsy! Great options and pretty quick on delivery!

Your crabitat is absolutely awesome! I am just starting out with 2 small pp's and a 10 gallon and have been considering a 20 gallon next but WOW I really want something bigger now! I really like all the natural wood and plants and the hiding places, and your little hermies look so happy and healthy. Thanks for the wonderful pics : )

thanks! I enjoy putting new tanks together. I just go out and buy stuff and hope it all works, a lot of the stuff doesn't get used, some that I was sure I wanted to use doesn't! Just never know..

I also get my Cholla from bear paws on etsy...they are awesome. I've been buying from them for 2 years and I have never been disappointed.

I glanced through the thread so you may have already mentioned this, do you have your straws separate from your other species? i love what you did with the cork bark. did you get the flowers from micheals? and is it still that neat and pretty or have your crabs knocked stuff over yet? lol

I have three straws in this tank for now - but I have the rest of my straws in my 125g tank with my PP's. However, my straws stick together. They interact great with the PP's, but prefer to maintain a tight knit group together. They are out and about during the day, but if they are napping, they all huddle below the platform next to each other. It is pretty cute. Thanks - I like it too, unfortunately though, it totally blocks any heat from the main heat pad behind the tank. So I have another pad on the side and use 3 bulbs. Banana recently moved the cork bark out a bit, so he can crawl behind that and the wall. I get my fake flowers from the dollar store. I have added succulent flowers to all my tanks, including this one, so it looks a bit different now - better I think. They have not really destroyed much! They dig big holes, but always re-fill them. So it still looks like this, with some added flowers. I will get a photo up soon, I keep forgetting to do that!

straws are the most adorable things. I have always wanted a few but i never thought i had a stable enough tank for them and i wasnt sure if they would get along with my Es and PPs
