Omg yes! and what a shell choice she made. The red against that green is brilliant.

This reminds me thats its nearly been a year since I posted anything about my crabbies... Maybe its time for a redecorate?

i end up redecorating every 6 months or so because i can see my grabs growing more sluggish, but i replace at least one item a month usually. and are those aussies? that one is so small

Yeah, they do have similar traits and breeding patterns. Many believe they closely related compared to other crabs. :)

Yep, unless Australia has begun importing exotic species. ;) Its pretty common here to offer them small, and around the size of a 5 cent coin - which is around a micro/teeny size. Rather cute, but they quickly grow to a small in a couple of moults anyway.
(Aussies are naturally a smaller species as well)

I have no exotics, only PPs, but I had to show the pic I managed to get of Pip while trying to sex him (the little bowl he is sitting in is 4" diameter) and the penny I added as a reference
