150g topper and spruce up
I just need to replace the moss and shredded plants that got tossed and they’ll be set for a bit.

It looks really good, it’s nice to see so many crabs all over the place!

Re: 150g topper and spruce up
I really love the look of topper. They give so much extra climbing and more decorating options! Your crew will love exploring! It's awesome how you added the basket into the climbing area too. I often wondered how much the temperature varies from the original tank level to higher up in the topper and if it changes the humidity levels inside the tank. I'm sure the changes would be minor, if any.

I love your setup! Your crabbies are soo cute, such beautiful colors they have. I Love the pictures. I want to do a topper so bad for the extra climbing room. What size tanks do you have?
Re: 150g topper and spruce up
I have thought of adding toppers like that but I and my mom don’t know if it is safe. Especially with a big family include two kids who are under 6 yrs old. Nice set up!
I have had pets in the past, but my family can’t have any furry or feathered ones due to allergies. I usually try my best to help and currently trying to set up a crabitat. I also try to treat others with Love!❤️

I need to get an extra hygrometer, I had a couple somewhere. I still have a lot to do; that pile of shredded greenery (my tank is usually a lot more crab hiding friendly and less viewer friendly) that ended up getting tossed had definitely seen better days.

Over the last 5 years I’ve (and my fellow crabber ex roomie) have rescued or fostered over 100 crabs. We had 3 tanks on one workbench, a 55, 40, and a 29, then we had a 60 and a 75, with multiple 10-20 gallon tanks included with adoptions.
She got another place and got out of crabbing and rehomed hers. My apartment managers weren’t amused by all the tanks in my unit
Last year someone from here gave me the 150g because they were moving and wanted the crabs to stay local.
So this is a 150g with a 40 breeder as a topper.

Thank you! I have been in burnout mode for a bit and went on vacation (which brought its own set of catastrophe, lol) but when I get home we will see about getting some isopods shipped this tank and my crested gecko’s homeGotButterflies wrote:That looks great! I love the crabby pictures!!
