Today’s the Day! 125 gallon new build!

Post by JeffCrab » Fri Dec 20, 2019 11:00 am

Today is the day I’ve been waiting for! I just purchased the tank (saved 15% by using buy online, pickup in store! ) and ordered the cargo van from UHaul. We’re heading to Petco & PetSmart now to get some supplies and then a friend is coming over to help us pick up the tank. No pics yet, but plenty are coming soon!!

Congratulations on your new 125 gallon tank! That sounds like such a large and spacious area for the crabs, it must be a dream come true! We are looking forward to seeing how to set up and how the tank will look, I know I will!:-)

After some slight issues with the pay online, pick up in store, the tank is finally home and the U-Haul has been returned. Time to get this thing set up!!

Alright! Most of the stuff we got went into the tank and I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out.

Totally forgot instant ocean to make salt water and tape to hang the background. Oops!

Here’s a photo update

Wow, talk about working quickly! Was expecting this to be a very slow build.

I remember seeing you post about a 75 gallon build, and I am even more excited to see this!

They got added! 5 very small PP's made their way home with me. They all dug down pretty much that night, so no photos of them, yet!
