Anyone know anything about fire bellied toads?

Post by Kharasmatic » Wed Feb 19, 2014 1:42 am

I inherited 5 of them and I'm looking to eventually rehome them.. I will be moving soon and can only take so many tanks with me, so unfortunately I have to downsize my "herd". I'm located in North East CT but am frequently in the Manchester and Mansfield area. PM me if you could (or you know someone who could) take them. (If this post is inappropriately placed, I apologize. It's been too long since I was on the forums! )

Fire bellied toads are actually a species of semi-aquatic frogs which are mildly toxic hence the brightly colored belly and so should not be handled regularly of if you have any cuts or open spots on your hands. You can look up basic care guides for these little amphibians they hardy and easy enough to care for but they can be really care intensive.
