molting?

Post by bbcraft22 » Tue Aug 16, 2016 1:14 pm

My first two hermit crabs have not been really active lately, and when I saw one change her shell, she had a lump on it (possibly a food pouch.) Bob has been trying to dig, bit he seems he can't do it. Is this normal for molters?

They may be very weak from previous poor conditions.

What does your substrate consist of?

this has been posted when I first started crabbing. I thought of it again and I figured he was not trying to dig. he was grooming.
