Carolina Reapers

Post by elly_bananas » Tue Sep 04, 2018 12:22 pm

How hot is too hot, or is it even a thing? Do they register capsaicin? The hotter the better?

I was given these reapers, organically grown through a friend of mine, because i had told him in the past ive given jalepenos and they enjoyed them. But reapers are like... wowza, top of the heat list lol, so i just dont know.

Thoughts?

From what I understand they don't measure foods by spiciness. Mine LOVE peppers. :) I have given mine habaneros. :) Everyone in my family says the peppers from my garden are ultra spicy.

I maced myself so badly making dried peppers that I have a severe allergy to them now.

I've done Calico hots that are listed at 50,000 – 70,000 scoville and they demolished them.
