This is where you discuss the conditions of your crabitat -- temperature, humidity, substrate, decorating, etc.

Post by rufeelinitnowmrkrabs » Mon Nov 19, 2018 7:00 pm

ive always had eco earth in my tank without any problems, but now i want to have a mix of play sand! to raise humidity and to make my crabby more happy to dig!

5 parts of play sand to 1 part eco earth. Mix with either dechlorinated water or salt water til it's sand castle consistency

I get my play sand from home depot for 2.80 and Lowes, it's just called play sand and is very common. Only had difficulty finding it at one home depot because apparently someone was building a sandbox and bought it all out lol

Avoid the " hermit crab sand" sold at pet stores.
