Does anyone insulate the bottom of their tank?? Would this help or hurt? Pros... Cons... Thanks in advance

It's the air you want to heat. Not the substrate. And by moving the tank to place it or remove it could collapse their tunnels and caves.

Thanks. I know this, I am preparing to set up my upgrade tank and wanted to do this first if it could benefit my crabitat. It will be on an aquarium stand close to an air vent in the floor. I will be putting a deflector on the air vent to direct the air outwards instead of up towards my tank.

It probably may help, but honestly it would be so marginal that its almost nonexistent... but you can certainly do so

Some stands don't have a solid top to them, in which case insulation would be a great idea for the bare glass! Just do it after the tank is in place. If the stand is solid, then there wouldn't be a need for it, and I would actually worry about uneven pressures causing the glass to crack.
