Orange/Tan flying bugs?!

Post by Cal » Wed Jul 22, 2020 11:19 am

I just found three or four flying orangeish tan bugs in the crabitat?! I had found one like a couple weeks ago but i thought it just got in from the house. If this is an infestation i cant keep them anymore, I’ve never seen this kind of bug before and it’s freaking me out lol. I’ll try and get a picture in a second, but does anyone know what these are?!

Edit- i cant find them flying around anymore , I’m not sure if they got out or are just resting but if i find them again i will be sure to take a picture. If anyone knows what they are just from the description, that would be great! They are kind of like round ish looking with wings, although i didn’t look for long.

Fruit flys are the worst!! Try to refrain from feeding fresh foods - stick to dry foods, and only put the foods in there when the hermits are awake. Good luck! :) You can also make the bottle traps to keep outside of your tank. :)
Truly blessed to have incredible creatures, wonderful friends and my amazing family in my life!! I'm very thankful & grateful for all of them! www.thehealthyhermit.com
