LOL, unfortunately when I bring them home, I make up their gender. I've never seen them far enough out of their shell to be able to tell which they are.

No sounds at all. I'm curious though how often this happens when I'm not at home or when I'm sleeping. I just happen to catch them about once a week it seems.

I have two crabs, a medium, Lucy and a small, Ethel. These two are always sleeping together, eating together and roaming around together. Ok. My tank conditions weren't up to par until about a month ago, so hopefully this will cause molting conditions to be better.

I have a post in the behavior forum and mentioned that one of my mediums has not molted in the 2 years I've had him and that is bad. Does anyone know how often they should be doing this?

Ok. My moss pit won't be very big so I'll just put a small amount in the freezer over the weekend. Hopefully they come out soon to enjoy all the goodies.

I saw some beaked moss at the pet store over the weekend and thought I would add to a second level shell shop. I'm new to moss for the crabbies. Is there a certain amount of time you can leave it in the tank or do you have to change it out every so often?
