Re: cuttle bone
I just transferred my remaining 3 crabbies into their new 100g home the other day and stuck a whole cuttlebone in there. I stick it in the sand halfway like a surfboard sticking out (gives me a giggle) ... they've already munched a big moon shape into it. So yes how ever you wanna do it they'll find...

I love em and I would get some in a heartbeat but I'm waiting til hon and I decide if I'm getting a new tank and whatnot. My only thought is their safety if they climbed and dropped ... I'm sure it's fine if they land on the sand of course, but if they clip a resin thingy or whatever. I still want e...

Where can we find shells for MHC?
Shells for Micro Zebras and Mexican Red Legs? Hon is needing to get some and we thought we'd ask the pros here where they get theirs or what you all recommend. Thanks for any info!
They are pretty darn small and the ones he got before aren't really right though some used em.

I use the premixed beach sand with coconut fiber and oyster shell from crabbage patch. I LOVE that stuff. If you have the money it's worth it. I mist the surface a bit each day just to keep it ok underneath and so far its stayed perfect under the surface. Always see the little guys making holes at t...

Yeah it wasn't/isn't dyed, smells really earthy ... doesn't smell NEAR as strong now thankgoodness that was awful lol. I'm not the outdoorsy type ;) And they have been really enjoying it so far, finally one of them is hanging out in the net moss pit and I think one just dug under the moss area where...

Question about moss
I just bought some moss at Wally World and it says "Natural Floral Moss" ... everything else was Spanish which for some reason I recall reading was not good so I passed all that up. This stuff looks like most I see in pictures ... and I plan to soak it in hot salt water then wave it for a bit ... bu...
