Re: UTH Size for 29 Gallon Tank?

Thanks for the quick replies you guys! (The rhyme was not intentional [emoji1]) I remember the earlier UTH I bought was an Ultratherm--not sure about the size though (probably a medium, I just remember it only covered a small portion of the back)--and it was easy to put on and not too expensive. Las...

Re: Heat variables in tank

Wod, I did that same thing with an emergency blanket! It's a really great fix if you need quick heat. [emoji2]

UTH Size for 29 Gallon Tank?

Hey guys! :D It's been a while since I've posted on this forum (busy with school and college applications), but I' need some quick advice. In my current set-up, I have two bulbs that I currently use for heat--bright for during the day, and a red one for at night-- but I'll be going to college soon, ...

Re: Safe Food List from EH

Is resurrection fern safe? I am putting live plants in the tank, but I have no idea if this is safe or not.

Re: Prepping for Babies!

Your house is gonna be filled with little hermit babies! :D I don't know if this helps or not, but I found this ebay listing for some really small shells. Some of them look a lot smaller than the quarter in the picture, but I'm not sure if they would be small enough for any babies. The listing says ...

Re: OMG!

You could buy a screen lid to put underneath your plexiglass one. It will help keeps the crabs in and you can still keep your holes the same size for ventilation. Depending on the size of your tank, you can usually get one pretty cheap, about 15$ or so. :)

Re: What's on today's menu & recipe sharing

Tonight they get some green egg omelet and a little bit of fruit on the side. :) The green egg is pretty easy to make. You just add spirulina powder to scrambled egg and blend it really good. I add in astaxanthin powder to make it healthy too. Inside the omelet I put shrimp and anchovies for some mo...

Re: 29G Brackish -7/23 Mega Update! New Species, Redo, Pics,

The tank looks very nice! :) I know what you mean about your furry friends scratching up the stand. My dog used to love to tear our basement door to pieces whenever we would go down there. And when he was a puppy he just loves ripping up carpet. I always told everyone thats why I didn't have nice th...

Tonight they they get a fresh crabby fruit salad with a little protein on the side.:)
It's got coconut (huge hit), pineapples, apple slices, goji berries, and mango topped with bee pollen and rose petals.

Re: ACK!!! E trying to beat up PP!!!!!!!!

I have to agree with wode here. I had something like this happen once between Kio and smaller PP, and I couldn't get my mind off of it. I had to set up the 10 gallon just so I could sleep. I wouldn't recommend as it was a pain in the butt to do at 12 AM. It turned out it was just a litt...

Hey wodesorel, you can but Red Sea from the HCP by the gallon. It's a tad expensive at like 1.75 a gallon though.
