that was going to be my next thought to put them in water. maybe add something to the water like a bit of baking soda.. dont know if it will help? that helps in swimming pools.. gees.. ive not made pools, the only time i made something i use aquarium sealant and it fell apart.. it was just a climber...

to me the black looks darker and clearer, less cloudy. They look much healthier! That is great news that you think she can see! I see it as progress! Im so glad you got the photos and such great ones at that. Now i cant wait to see what happens next molt! I love her eye lashes..

i get them from time to time in my dollar store when a friend of mine drys them out.. I have starfish as one of the 1.00 items right now but im out of the sand dollars..

If you boil the star fish you wont have any left.. as far as starfish and sand dollars you just need to make sure where you got them from didnt use alcohol to dry them and air dried them.. some places also bleach sand dollars. a good variety is best.. Offer the most types of food you can.. cuttle bone and egg shell are not good protein sources.. Personally i never offer raw egg into my tank or any raw meats either. i want to protect my tank from salmonella. You might want to check out my hermit crab dollar store for foods...

I wonder if you filled it with warm water and baking soda if that would help? let it set for a day or two and them wash it out good and do a new test? I was told to do that one time when i bought a large plastic tank.. They suggested to do that before you set up any type of fish in the tank . I dont...

you dont have to mix it with the food you can offer it as a separate dish they will eat it if they need calcium. Egg shell is a good source and is fine to offer..
