HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Some shell sizes can be difficult to find, and the larger they are the more expensive, but there will always be turbos big enough. Turbo marmoratus (green/jade turbos) grows larger than any terrestrial hermit crab will ever need. Just do a google search on "huge turbo marmoratus" and you'll see. ;) ...

This is her third pregnancy this year, she's very prolific and totally amazing. Hello! I've bought a new aquarium for my hermit crabs and are now planning what to do with it. I want more texture in their substrate this time, and was wondering if adding Exo Terra Forest Bark , Jungle Earth or Rain Forest to the substrate mix is safe for them? If not, what would you use?
