Re: Does anyone else's crabs have a heirachy?
I've definitely noticed with mine, like yours, size doesn't mean squat.

Re: Growth Rate
Omg that is horrifying DDDD: I hope you figure out who the culprit is eventually!!! T_T Yeah I wish I could be more help but I haven't had my blues for very long; 6 months? I'm not good with time. I feel like I'd have to have all my crabs for years and years in the same condition to say whether cert...

Re: ssuction cup frustrations!
I've never had a suction cup that hasn't gone bad. I now use magnts covered in plastic (one on the inside, one on the outside) and kitchen organizers that are high enough that I can hang stuff off of them. Good luck!

Re: Food aggression or just sheer massivness?
That was a good idea. I do have some crabs that like to sit in the bowl while they eat, while others like to sit on the edge. Hopefully you won't have any more trouble with your pushy guy with the two bowls! Another thing I wanted to mention was I've sometimes had newer crabs that were a little push...

Re: Food aggression or just sheer massivness?
Crabs tend to just walk over whatever is in their way and I can see how a big guy wouldn't really know his size when another crab is next to him. I wouldn't start to think he's being aggressive unless you repeatedly see him going out of his way to shove other crabs when he's by the food.

My own Es have seemed to be fine, but I did notice that one of the Es I got from Marina was extremely aggressive. I'm currently in the process of migrating crabs into species tanks; PPs, Straws, and Blueberries in one, and Es and Rugs in another. The Straws are nothing but gentle and sweet. The Blue...

I use the hygrotherm (in concert with the reptifogger) and I've really liked it. I decided to hang the sensor in the exact middle of the tank, floating above the substrate and where no crabs can really get to it. I don't think the crabs would eat it but the little slits in the sensor are big enough ...

Super saver shipping is free so the fogger had no extra charges beyond the $42.77. :) The hygrotherm wasn't eligible for the free shipping because it's actually sold by another company on the amazon site so it ended up $72.65 (same with the magna rocks). However I also got two more of the Fluker's D...
