HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I have four crabs (3 medium to large, one small) in a 40g tank. I haven't seen three of them for a few weeks, and the smaller one (maybe he's now a medium..) showing himself nightly - I think the others are molting. I cracked open a pork rib with a hammer lengthwise, and put it in the 'tat yesterday...

This was one thing I was going to ask - for coconut, when I pull out the meat can I just put the shell in the tank as a hut (after I cut a hole for entry, of course) without ripping off the bark/sanding off the outside of it?

I've found it in the same area as other cooking oils (olive, canola, etc)...

Just a side note: You can use it yourself to make magic shell (you know, the chocolate covering that 'hardens' over ice cream) - it's quite good, and very easy. You know, just to make you get a larger bottle of it...
