Wow cool pics! Atleast crabs can regenerate limbs and look good as new in just a few molts. Keep us posted on their progress.

The best way I can describe it is standing at the shore and smelling the sea air. It would not stink up the entire room or tank since he is buried. Musky odors may mean something else is going on, like low air circulation.
