Re: Aquarium Salt and Marine Salt
No. Aquarium Salt is for creating a brackish environment, which is a mix between marine and fresh, and it is salt, not marine salt. Marine salt makes water into the water you see in the ocean. It makes it marine. I've never heard of HBH sea salt, so I'll have to leave your other question to another ...

I think your first step is to find out what kind of algae is in your tank. Here's a list of common fish tank algae:

If you could classify it, it may be easier to figure out if it is eligible for hermit crabs or not.

Sccrambled Eggs
Are scrambled eggs safe for hermit crabs? I know that egg whites and egg yolk were on the safe list, but I just wanted to make sure. Also, I sprayed the pan with cookings pray before putting the eggs on. That's safe too, right? Thanks!

I don't have an iso either- some people say that it's better to have one but I think it's more of a stressor to the poor guy that's being isoed! I do have a spare tank and substrate for emergencies though:) Yeah I don't ISO them either, because I think it stresses the crab out to much. Also, the cr...

There are rumors about hyperbolic pressure, and that could be it. WAit and see if a big storm comes up. If so, it might be part of the reason. Also, if he molts 2-3 times a year, he's not that far off the schedule. Only by a month or so. Also, what kind of crab is he? Is he a species that naturally ...

Hikari Bio-Pure
Hey guys, I read on the Crab Care FAQs that one of the safe commercial foods were Hikari Bio-Pure. I was looking it up, and they only thing it came up with were things for fish. Is this what the FAQ was talking about?
