Blaise changed shells too! He's in a pretty orange-y tapestry turbo. :banana: I don't know what prompted him and Tobias to change shells right around the same time, but I'm sure glad they did! Now all of my crabs are out of their original, painted shells. Yay! I did clean my shells a couple of weeks...

Mine often are more skittish after a molt. It's like they forgot what their life was like while they were underground and have to readjust.

Finally, an E shell change after 14 months!
We were looking in the tank the other night and noticed a large E in a different shell than we'd seen one wearing before (I think it's a Florida Crown Conch). Two of my E's are stubborn and won't change shells (even after more than a year!), but since we got him in February, Parker (an E) has changed into a tonna shell, then a tulip shell, and is now in a large polished turbo shell.

Mine are always skittish after a molt. (Most of mine are always skittish, but I have 3 that aren't.) It usually takes them anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks to return to their normal personality.
