They can eat it raw or cooked. I prefer to cook mine and usually use the microwave for what I cook for the crabs. If I get an entire extra piece for the crabs to cook and freeze I'll put it in a separate baking dish with a little olive oil in the dish first and bake it in the oven at the same time ...

How can I prepare salmon for my hermit crabs. I don't eat fish and not sure if I cook it or not, if so how. Thanks.

Well, I had my 2 ruggies from Aug. this year to Dec. this year. Ruggie went down and molted and came back up, But when Ruger went down he never made it back up. Ruggie I think got sad, after Ruger died, because Ruggie died also. Not sure what happened.
