Re: I thought my PC was clean???

Conduit is the devil. I had it on my computer once after downloading a program. Malwarebytes and CCleaner got rid of it, but it ripped through my software and made my Photoshop, which I use for work, completely corrupted. So I had to system restore. Took 3 weeks to completely find and delete ever fi...

Re: Lego police booth for crabs

Crabs like legos because they are easy to climb on. I know of some kids near me who built a whole castle structure they let the crabs play on from time to time. I always recommend kids interact and play with the crabs, it's the best way to learn.

Re: Shipping Hermit Crabs

May I make a suggestion? Along with the substraite and styrofoam as a cushion, a good way to keep their temperature in check even if they are being shipped during the safe month, is to stick them and the container in a soft lunch bag. It will act as an insulator and further protect them. Also bubble...

Re: i think my crab could be blind..?

Crabs naturally like to walk and dig in a circular pattern and walk along walls, such as the sides of the tank. I my crab Sophia lost her eye at one point (before I got her) and it had grown back during several molts, but is still shorter. What so you mean by blind? Can you see a clouding over of th...

Re: Post your jumbo( or biggest crab)

Oliver likes to think I am a tree, when I first got him it felt like the talons of a hawk digging into my flesh. he even cut me a few times. I wish I could file them

Re: Safe Food List from EH

Since whole wheat/whole grain pasta is okay, does this mean wheat flour would be okay? I was thinking about trying to create some hermit crab crunchies, with all sorts of stuff ground up and mixed in, then baking it. wheat flour is okay when baked into something. i used it to make dog treats this p...

Re: Safe Food List from EH

she's a little thing, maybe a little over 2 inches across because of the shell, which she came with. Babe likes to use her as his own personal jungle gym LOL she will probably molt within the next few months, usually it takes them a year. she shows no signs of molting yet (personality wise) she is s...

Awww, what happened to Ghost? Yeah, I wanted to get a dehydrator but A: they are expensive and B: I have had MAJOR electrical issues in my house since winter started & we had to start using the furnace so I'd be afraid of it tripping too many breakers, lmso Just for clarification, what I meant abou...

Re: Safe Food List from EH

I agree with you. You don't have to be so crazy when preparing your food for them. I just feed them what I have for dinner, they eat it, they are fine. Heck if Oliver can eat and survive eating a plastic fern in his crabitat, they can survive some garlic. they eat junk food too if you give it to the...
