Yes. Nothing helps. Not even a private window. And I also have AdBlocker but some get through.aussieJJDude wrote:Really? have you tried disabling popups? Helps me quite a bit.Jackolope wrote:I still get pop-ups and tons of ads on Photobucket

Re: Alternative Picture Site to Photobucket?
Imgur is a free pic service many folks use but, as much as I hate Photobucket and all of those #%! ad pages, I still find it the most reliable one. Photobucket recently has cut back on all the ads, before there use to be loads of popups but since disabling popups it usually comes up with a banner...

Re: Alternative Picture Site to Photobucket?
Every time I try to open photobucket, even in a private window on Firefox with Adblock turned on, I still get surrounded by junk. I feel like I have to run my anti-virus every time I go on there for pete's sake

Re: Unusual smell on limp crab that's not the death smell???
I have had my PPs survive as low temps as 65 degrees when my heater died in the middle of the night in winter. I wouldn't recommend it, but they are hardy beasts.

Aloe LIQUID does not bother their gills, the gel would. i have left it in their dish overnight, they really seem to like it. The bacterial infection is a little harder to cure. Some have tried 250mg Tetracycline powder (for Ick for fish) mixed ratio of 1 part Tetra and 4 parts bottled water (half a ...

Re: Inactive hermit crabs
As someone who lives near a beach, I highly suggest you stop using sand and sea water. Sand is usually trucked in and can contain some nasty chemicals (I've had family break out in mysterious rashes because of this). Even when it's not you never know what animal may have urinated or defecated on the...

Hermit crab smell test: If your crab(s) smells like An old boot = bacterial infection Moldy = mold in the back of the shell (though some substraite can cause this) Slight stink but not offensive and no signs of stress = molting Iron-like metallic strong smell (and dark brown bile near the mouth) = t...

Re: Lifespan
Yes, but only when I'm home and only in my room. Not at night because it would drive me crazy. I leave a couple water dishes around in case. As long as we are talking PPs because they can handle being out of the tank for a bit, and I wouldn't recommend this if your crabs are really small. I don't do...

Not at all - I was thinking a couple days ago that I'd noticed a sort of trend in reading about really old captive crabs (not that there are a ton to read about ), and it seems like they often have really big enclosures, or have free-range privileges. That's all. :) Well in my case it's the free ra...

Alternative Picture Site to Photobucket?
Does anyone know of a free alternative to Photobucket? I used to be on Imageshack but they kicked me off when they started making people pay. I really don't like Photobucket because of all the ads. Flickr is full of people who want to steal images. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks :crabb...
