I'm so happy to heart that! How long have you had them now for? I'm so glad that both Nawla and Symba are thriving

Jinx

I got Jinx on June 13th, and he passed away yesterday of PPS. He was the largest crab I've ever had, and I am very sad to see him go. I wish we could have gotten to know each other, but it didn't turn out that way. Jinx's personality was not revealed fully to me in our short time, but what I saw mad...

Sesame has a little hole in his back O.O *Pictures ADDED*

To me it doesn't look any more serious than just a bit of a dent in the exo, by the way it is quite non infected looking and quite a clean injury. I would keep an eye on it, but yet I would not bet against a problem free recovery where it is concerned. Is it on the gills Dylan? I thought the gills w...

Colorado Critter Company

Great idea Dylan, thanks. I will be gone a bit this summer I believe, as I am going to both Indiana and DC that I know of for now, both with friends so my family will be fine to watch the crabs.

Colorado Critter Company

I see, well in that case looks like there is going to be no "easy food" to give people to just feed them nightly when I go on vacation. Oh well, my crabs know that I spoil them now and have no real plans of stopping^^

Colorado Critter Company

Good point, I myself was a bit curious about the calcium and minerals. The ingredients don't list any sort of tortilla chip- so perhaps they stopped that? The hermit crab patch sells food from here, but they also sell FMR food- which I don't understand.

http://coloradocareco.com/home.htmlLooking at this site, they seem to have some amazing food packs for crabs. I'm very tempted to buy from them, I love the 4 ounce crab kibble (I think that's what its called), because it has just about everything the crabs need. Added with something from the addicti...

A warning for those with glow in the dark dishes

When I set up my 55 gallon I had my 6 year old sister pick out their calcium dish, as I figured it didn't matter too much what they used. She chose a glow in the dark dish from Petsmart. I'm sure you've all seen them, they come in green, blue, and pink- and they are all swirly? She chose the blue on...
