Do Not Know How To Respond
1. What kind of substrate is used in your tank and how deep is it? 6inch, though, most likely more. Sett to the largest of the crabs to be submerged by enough sand as to not be hindered by the other two hermits in the tank. 2. Do you have gauges in the tank to measure temperature and humidity? If s...

Re: What age do you think most pet store cabs are?
That still helps. I can say that the most ruff estimate for all of them is most likely 8-10 only the largest Landon is most likely older at 10-12. Ruffly, anyway and I could be lowballing it. So i have realized today. That my four rescue pet store crabs have been with me for ruffly 6 years. However, I do not know what age they were when I obtained them. It nearly scared one of my hermits half to death when he noticed it form his tank. Ran clear across the tank and dug down a bit...was comical until I realized th...

how do you get your crabs to not hate you?
So, I have an odd problem. My crabs contiue to dislike my presence. Even a movement from me and they scurry fast away as though I'm going to attack them :( I have tried to make the tank the best it can be. They have the best most close to home food. I Handle them off and on (sometimes). Usually they...

Re: Chirping...is it always a bad sign?
I have heard a strange chirp a few times in my tank. It's always quick and very loud. I have no idea even where it is comming from or who is making the noise. I think I have two crabs down, and only one above ground.
Should I be worried?
