Just read a nice article in Natural History Magazine (June issue) on how crabs like to modify their shells. They have a photo of a cute little E on the front cover. You might want to check it out the next time you go to the library.

Well, I really don't think that I do anything "special" for my guys. I have a 45 gallon tank with about 6 1/2 inches of moist play sand.I use the normal versa-top along with 2 24 watt (50 -60 gallon) UTH's on the back of the tank. The temperature usually stays between 82-83 degrees and the humidity ...

Strawberry surprise !

So So Happy!! My biggest straw "Butters" popped up from his 3rd molt today! The other 2 smaller straws "Salts n Peppa"(look like salt shakers) have also done the same. I'm just glad that they are growing so well. YEA !!
