All I know is that compared to PPs, Es are apparently more active; they climb more, they are more likely to be seen crawlin' around in the daytime.
When I finally get my own apartment I want to get a couple Es for that reason. I've heard they're pretty wild! I dunno about any other breeds though.

Let him do his thing. Don't worry too much. Make sure the temperature and humidity are in the right zones. Feed your crabbies enough protein and they should leave him alone. :]
