Re: LiveHermitCrabs.com
do NOT let any mites into your main tank, trust me. :/ I have a question mainly aimed at kuza but, anyone can answer. :) Can Mites move from one tank to another? Example: If you have mites in your ISO and it's sitting right next to your main tank or even in the same room, can the mites migrate over...

Re: Will a new large PP beat up on my smaller ones?
Right now in the 26 gal I have about 6" to 7" depth of substrate. In the new 75 gal. (That I got today!) I will take your advice and go with even deeper substrate. Thank you for your input. Work and protein are not a problem. I can do that! I seem to have gotten all excited when upgrading from my 10...

Will a new large PP beat up on my smaller ones?
I'm thinking about adopting a large crab. I already have 3 small to medium PP's. I'm switching them from the 26gal to a 75 gal very soon. Once they are settled in the 75 would it be OK to put a large PP in with them? (after he's been in an isolation tank for a few weeks) I'm not that experienced yet...

Re: My crabs don't behave like crabs!
Thanks for all of the input. It makes me feel better. I guess maybe I've been taking it all out of perspective. The posts that I've seen are about something that crabs are doing is always exciting in one way or another. Either there are problems, something unusual, or they're just downright cute. No...

My crabs don't behave like crabs!
OK, we're coming up on three months that I've had these guys. (3 small-small/medium PP's) And not once have I ever seen anyone dig! :? I read posts about how some of you have such enthusiastic diggers or they at least dig. Mine do none, nada! My guys haven't molted yet either. And ever since I got t...
