Those behaviours sound normal to me :) The burried one may be molting, but she could also be desressing. If you see her again in a few days, then she was just destressing. I think sojmad got to something like 17 days before all hers died?? I think that might be a record that I know of in just a hobbyist. I read somewhere that around 14 days you should add the tiny shells for them, then they will start to go to land? Does anyone really know how old they are before the...

ooooh well he does eat and drink his salt and fresh water, but always goes straight back to his log to rest. So hopefully in time he will heal

"They are just being bumps on a log" .... LOL Love it! a least they are that! My PP's are never out when I'm aound, they just come out and empty the food dish at night when I'm sleeping, then back to snoozing all day long.

your crabbies are so darn cute! is this the farthest we have seen crab babies come in captivity? I hope so badly that they get to land crab stage.... I check this forum every day to see how far they have come Keep the crab baby pics coming!!!!!!!!!

I have only tried twice, and I had live ones that I drowned in hot water... Im scared to put them in live cause if they escape I will be totally creeped out Maybe I'll try a deeper ceramic bowl like you have and see how they like them.
