Re: Getting fiddler crabs!
Probably. I have 2 heated pools in my 55 gallon crabitat that make up less than a quarter of the surface and my humidity is pretty steady at 95%. I have air pumps blowing air in there constantly just to dry it out a little.

Re: Anyone know anything about Red Claw Crabs
Awesome, I have several empty tanks, and I know I want some fish, and I also want to do a couple of projects that interest me, in particular a paludarium with a drip wall and live plants, which wouldn't really work with brackish water. I was trying to come up with a critter that would take advantage...

Re: Anyone know anything about Red Claw Crabs
OK, I get it, it's either crabs and a very small selection of fish, or fish. Gotcha! Like I said, early research stages here, thanks!

Re: Anyone know anything about Red Claw Crabs
So fiddlers are all fresh? That does make things easier. The tanks is 30 x 12, minus a little floor space for the w...

Re: Inactive Hermies
Get used to it! They probably are de-stressing to an extent, by they will naturally have frequent, sometimes long, periods of not doing a whole lot. They will also get active too though. If you provide things to climb on and explore they will check them out. Also, make sure your temps and humidity a...

Re: When are your crabs active?
Most of mine are jerks, I have a few that are almost always active, but some who seem to be permanently invisible. Although, having said that, I've had them all for less than 4 months, and they got a new tat about a month ago. I get up really early in the morning so when I get up or if I'm ever wand...
