Yup, all of my hermit crabs have died one after another. I recently adopted 5 (by recent I mean this May) It was awesome because they came with a humidifier, a nice 150 watt lamp, plants and lots of shells. Also they were all E's which I loved. I've had the urge to take a few hermit crabs out of the tank (on a humid day) to watch big bang theory, because I watched them watching the t.v with their eyes glued to it while big bang theory was on and have bad quality picture to prove it.

Mine are having a taste of summer,
Pineapple, mango, coconut, eggshell, salmon, strawberry, strawberry leaves, blueberry leaves, dandelion, and rose petals.

I've had sand dollars in my tank for months and have had no problems.
