Thanks for the replies. I caught one climbing a branch and the one I thought was dying waved at me yesterday. I think they are probably OK.

Thank you. I'm dealing with a heating problem since hurricane Sandy and after reading this thread I ran out to buy a light. Still not sure how to keep the tank warm enough at night - they did not have heat producing bulbs for night time - but hopefully this will buy me some time!
