I honestly can't say. I have never noticed the change in leg colors. I usually notice that my crabs start digging and pigging out more before going down for molts.

I would strongly suggest AGAINST using this in your tat. I would use aquarium silicone or 100% silicone , both are safe. Calla.. I just stumbled across this post! We recently acquired a chinchilla, four rats and three hamsters. The chinchilla we have had for several months. However, the hamsters and rats were newly acquired. They are indeed HILARIOUS to watch! Hope all is working out with your little mice.
