It's on a custom built wooden aquarium stand that I bought used when I go the 90 gallon tank.

Re: 90 gallon set up
B. E. A. UTIFUL! I love the deep sub and how 'full' everything looks. No wasted space always looks good. How big are your crabs? Sent from my cp3705AS using Tapatalk Thanks! My crabs are medium to large, with my biggest one at the upper end of the large range. I posted pictures of them a couple of ...

My Hermit Crab Crew
These are my 4 purple pinchers right after they moved back into the tank after I changed all the substrate. Bo - He's the crab I've had the longest (10 years). He's the second one I got. https://photos.app.goo.gl/jKSawU4BVWcp2WLD8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/MyVrVNpCFVnR2tbZA Moose - She's my largest ...

90 gallon set up
Here's my 90 gallon that I just did a full substrate change on this week and set back up with updated tank decorations. Sorry about the monitor reflection on the left of the tank. The color difference on the two sides is due to my UVB bulb on the left which puts off a more yellow light. I have 12 in...

Help with pictures from Google
I followed the instructions for posting an image from Google photos and it didn't work. I did it both with the instructions to open the image in a new tab and copy the URL, then I tried creating a link to share. In both cases I used the insert image button from the board. Neither way worked. Anyone ...

I had a Strawberry that was attacked and was similar to your crab's situation. I documented the process in this thread:

Re: Heat and humidity problem
I use a combination of Ultratherms and lights. That allows me to keep both at a medium level. Also, if you have a craft store nearby you may be able to get clear vinyl to cover your screen top. I use that with magnetic tape around the edges to allow it to connect with the lid. Not a lot of expense, ...

Re: Possible Post-Molt Problem, I Need Some Guidance!
She's a bit light, but I've seen them come up that way and then darken up. I've also seen them change color a bit after a molt. I'd be sure to offer good food options and just keep an eye on her.

Re: Haven't seen My hermit crab since Feb 22
Give them time. I've noticed that especially in the winter they tend to stay down longer. Even little ones can stay down 2 months or more.

Re: Lost all limbs UPDATE**5/05/14
I have to agree with you that it doesn't sound very good. You have done a fantastic job, so just keep doing what you've been doing and the rest is really up to the crab. We can only do so much, but they have to have the will AND have injuries from which they are actually able to recover. Hang in the...

Re: Lost all limbs UPDATE**5/05/14
Now sure why he didn't generate more limbs, but chances are good he's going to try for a quick molt to fix it. He's going to need every possible good food you can give him, with a priority on proteins and minerals. I'd add in some things like coconut and/or coconut oil as well.

Re: Lost all limbs UPDATE**5/05/14
If he comes out with enough limbs to get around I'd leave him in iso, but let him do his own thing even if the moving around is only a small amount. When my straw that is currently in iso molted her limbs were smaller than normal so I left her in the iso and she turned around and did a second molt i...

Re: Lost all limbs UPDATE**5/05/14
They do seem to be dead right before they molt. I'd recommend that you be patient and leave him alone for a week. No peeking! Trust me, I know that takes a whole lot of patience and involves a whole lot of worry. Been there! If they were doing a normal molt they would stay down a whole lot longer th...
