HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I've been doing both and it seems like they prefer larger pieces so far. They absolutely love peppers and asparagus, those have gone almost immediately after putting it in hahaha

Do hermits prefer their food to be crushed up or crumbled? Or will they eat from bigger pieces? And has anyone noticed if they prefer mixed selections or separated in the dish? I might be overthinking it, but I want them to be happy with their food choices.

I have a folding glass lid, and I've had it slid slightly back from the front of the tank to keep the humidity around 90%. I am curious if you should or shouldn't clean the glass inside the tank? My glass is very wet from the humidity in my tank, which is good for the humidity, but it's obviously not good for crab watching. Is there a way I can or should clean it or should I just suck it up and deal with the moisture?
