Re: Green Tea question
Yeah I did search the group for green tea and read what was posted. Just didn't find anything specific really about it. I think I am just going to stick with camomile and hibiscus and things like that.

Green Tea question
So I bought some Carrington Tea. Green Tea all natural 100% tea leaves and fed it to my crabs. Ingredients say green tea leaves. no artificial colors or additives. One kinda went a little crazy for it. And now someone is saying I should ONLY give decaf teas. So now I am super worried because I had 4...

Re: Strawberries have arrived!
There are just 2 crabs in all of the pictures. The top picture.. crab on the left changed into that shell within like 10-15 minutes.Crabinski wrote:Are those the shells they arrived in? If so, you really got a nice deal: beautiful, healthy crabs and really nice shells!

Strawberries have arrived!
They are super active and so cute! I did get 2 from Reptile City. I placed my order this past Saturday so 5 days from when I received them. They did only come with dry newspaper I suggested he maybe ship them with some damp moss and by his reply he didn't like my idea at all. http://i.imgur.com/TEMC...

Re: Strawberry crab help
Is there any other way I can tell if they have mites rather than a bath? I have absolutely no experience with this just read about it.
If they don't have mites then I shouldn't need to give them a bath right?
I did order from Reptile City.

Strawberry crab help
Hi, I just ordered 2 strawberry crabs yesterday and want to be certain I am prepared for their arrival in the next week or 2. I have a 40 gallon breeder with sand and ee mix. I have a UVB light also. Currently only 9 inches of sub but I can add more if needed slowly as I do have 1 crab down right no...

Re: New Crab no big pincher seems kind of slow
Still not a single sign of him. It's been I believe 2 months and 8 days. I tried searching the forum for "missing big pinchers" to try and get a rough estimate on how long he'll be down or just to read similar stories and didn't really find much.. I swear in the past I've seen threads on it but neve...

Re: New Crab no big pincher seems kind of slow
Thanks for the quick reply.
I do have worm castings and calcium powder. I do have honey also but I'd probably wait on that till I see him up. I'll have to look into the freeze dried insects!

Re: New Crab no big pincher seems kind of slow
Still no sign of him coming up yet. In need of suggestions on what to be feeding him? All I really have is various powdered type food from the hermit crab patch. It's what my other crabs seem to like best. But it really goes bad after 24 hours and I have wasted a lot in the ISO tank waiting on this ...

Re: collard greens
Don't have a dehydrator but have been looking into buying one.
I just boiled it plain and froze it into little pancakes. They don't really seem to like it cooked/frozen.
They did seem to like it raw though. Made a huge mess of it and had it all over the place.
