What are the crabs going in? Yeah, I agree, the tank height can be annoying

Haha, no they don't dig. If they did I would be worried. I have heard of crabs ripping through, so I would recommend using the needlepoint canvas. You can get it at craft stores or online if you don't already have it.

It's egg crate, a type of light diffuser found at hardware stores. It's commonly used in false bottoms, and I simply cut it to the size I wanted and zip-tied some needlepoint canvas (that cross stitch stuff) to the egg crate

I'm yet to drill some in my new lids, but in the last one, I just used a regular drill bit and tried to make the holes line up in a straight line. Just make sure the holes aren't too big, in case a crabby tries to escape

Yeah, yeah, I gotta wait for those Christmas funds to do the FW :). All the stuff at the bottom is aquarium siliconed into the bottom, left to cure for about half a week. When I applied the silicone, I used a bag of exo terra river bed sand and pressed some in so that it would look beachy :D Thanks ...

I would go for 100. I actually had a 40B before the 90 gallon, and the 100 was perfect . Also, I forgot to tell you that yes, that is the lid I was talking about

I would go with the bigger shower caddies. Ugh, I want those shells so badly!!!! I'm hoping to increase my selection when I go down to Florida after Christmas.

I'm so sorry Calla I've also had issues with E's, particularly with molting issues. It's always tough to lose a crabby, and I offer you my condolences :grouphug:
