Re: Water pools
I think I'll leave my pools the way they are for the moment. The next couple of weeks, I'm going to be scouring the internet and stores looking for the perfect pools. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Post pics of ur tat!
Funnily enough, one of my biggest motivators in school is being able to obtain a stable job that pays well, so that I can shower my crabbies with money
. Shockingly enough, I found out that if I do well this year, I may get a chance to be valedictorian, so I'm pretty excited ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/003.gif)

Re: Operation Adoption
If you have a substantial second level, I would say that 10 crabs would not be too much. From what I've heard, they're not too large either. Just make sure to spoil them ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Lol, if I find the right one, I may do filtered. I have a small tetra filter, but upgrading to a slightly larger one shouldn't be that much.

Re: 90 Gallon Finished (not really)
Thanks. And I do the same thing! lol. I'm a junior in high school, and pretty focused on my grades, so I don't have a job. My parents help me out on b-days and such. Unlike most people, I don't desire a new car or phone for my b-day. I get tanks, animals, and supplies ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/003.gif)

Re: 90 Gallon Build Thread
Where did you get the ropey vine on the left going up to the one bin? And also the rock looking thing on the right? Gorgeous tank! I made the ropey vine myself. I got a piece of twine, untreated of course, covered it in some brown silicone from the hardware store (make sure it isn't a mold-free kin...

Re: How many crabs?
Oh yeah, I don't plan on having e's. I've had them before, and even though I had the right parameters, they all never made it. Then again, I did get them from pitiful conditions, so they never made it through their first molt. If I were to get e's again, it would be in their own separate tank. I kno...

Water pools
Hey all! As some of you may know, I just finished upgrading to a 90 gallon. As part of this project, I would like to update my pools. Right now, all I have are some small little tupperware-style pools. I've already seen the pool pictures post, so I've got some ideas. I've got some questions: I saw t...

Re: Crabbies So Happy to Have Lighting Strip Back!
My humidity is always above 70%, that's most definitely true. My gauge will often read 99%, though, and there's no way it could be that high. I've had conversations with experienced froggers who really just hate their gauges. I do keep one in there, though. The lid is all glass, and I'm going to put...

Re: Crabbies So Happy to Have Lighting Strip Back!
I air out the tank for 30 minutes to an hour once or twice a week, and then spray directly after that. I don't trust gauges anymore, after seeing how far off their measurements can be. I use the condensation on the front pane of glass to tell the humidity ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/003.gif)

Here's a pic of the tat if that helps: http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab310/jarteta97/JOSHUALAPTOP/90%20gallon%20hermit%20crab%20tank/20141029_155015_zps0d89f040.jpg I know that specific parameters can differ from tank to tank. I plan on getting larger pools, and a larger second level, consistin...

Lol, sorry, I kind of forgot about this. And it was supposed to be a build thread  Oh well, there wasn't that much to build, so here's some pics: http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab310/jarteta97/JOSHUALAPTOP/90%20gallon%20hermit%20crab%20tank/20141029_155015_zps0d89f040.jpg http://i874.phot...
