Re: Shocking Tale
I may take out my PPs soon and let them run around my room for 10 minutes or so. I usually don't handle my crabs, but it's been awhile. I do it about once every 2 months. If this is an issue, let me know, and I'll stop. Observing them is good enough

Re: 90 Gallon Finished (not really)
Wow, that is simply awesome! A few questions: how did you get the cholla and cork to stand straight up and not fall down? Is it supported with something that I just can't see? Also, you mentioned misting, and I can almost see the fog in the picture -- what are you using for misting/fogging the tat?...

Re: 90 Gallon Finished (not really)
Wow, this is awesome! I have bookmarked this page as I am in love with your crabitat. If I was to upgrade, I think my tank would be set up very similar to yours! :) With the 5:1 ratio, is it EE:sand or sand:EE? And if you're willing to share, how much did this cost you (roughly)? It's a ratio of fi...

Re: Shocking Tale
Wow, thanks for telling me, Wode, that really puts it in a new light The gravel is what really threw me off. 38 years! I sure hope my crabs live that long. The lack of information is a valid point, I hadn't thought about it. And talk about dedication

Re: Post pics of ur tat!
Thanks, but just know that it took over a year and a bunch of hard work before I got it. Don't worry, you'll always be looking for an upgrade, and you'll eventually get there. There are still several tats that make me jealous, like Kuza's.

I just came across this. The woman appears to have had her crabs for 29 years, but the conditions are pitiful. I'm very, very confused.
Thoughts, opinions?

Re: How many crabs?
Thanks for the help. I know it's pretty flexible, so I really just like to hear people's personal opinions, especially those with exotics or large tanks.

Re: 90 Gallon Finished (not really)
Lol, I could never make something that nice. I bought it from Petsmart. I believe it's called a Bonsai tree, and it was about $25-30. I know other members have used it, and my crabs LOVE it. Funnily enough, though, I've seen I think EVERY single crab chilling on top of the cholla, almost like queen/...
