Re: Adopted Hermie... Not looking right
In your one post you had mentioned that you picked him up and thought he might fall out of his shell. Could that indicate that he isn't stuck but just content maybe? I just created a post with a picture of Harry in a painted shell I thought was too small. He just won't change either. I have a reply ...

Re: Adopted Hermie... Not looking right
I just read through all your thread posts and replies. I hope Cletus is doing ok. My Harry is also in a painted shell that may be too small but won't change. I worry about the little guys. Keep us updated though. Hopefully now that he is in a proper and stable environment he will start coming around...

Re: Serious Question: How do they poop?
Lol Wodesorel I had a vision of this playing out as I read it. I made me laugh thinking about them tossing the poo out. Lol I've been easily amused lately. Re: Crab On the Run!
I had an experience like this myself. My favorite guy- Harry was in ISO for a molt and I had seen him starting to come up so I thought all was well and continued my business. The next time I checked he had put himself right up against the glass closest to me (i'm certain he did it so he would be see...

Re: Buried...Then Up...Then Buried Again...
I just had one reemerge after back to back molts within the hour. I've been so worried about him. He did a 1 month molt and was up for a week before going back down for another 4 weeks. I thought for sure I had lost him this time. My heart was broken but I just seen him back up!! Crabbing for 2 year...

Re: Back to back molts.
Ok thanks. I'm just stressing. I've lost crabs before and not had that dead smell and I'm just very worried. I hand feed Harry for a month after a bad molt so we have a bond. He is secretly my favorite but shhhhh the others must not know. Crabbing for 2 years-still obsessed! 6 total crustacean kids....

Back to back molts.
Hi peeps it's been a very long time. So my Harry recently took a month long molt. He's my favorite so I paid attention. He was up for maybe a week and has been back down for at least 2-3 weeks. Is it uncommon to have a double molt or could there be something wrong? Crabbing for 2 years-still obsesse...

Good that you were observant though and could catch it. Is it a big farm where there's spraying for sure?

Re: Are my crabs happy?
Mine are constantly climbing on each other- they don't go around. They often sleep stacked on each other too. Also, they are always trying to climb the tank walls. They aren't unhappy or trying to escape so to speak, they are just looking for something to climb. I end up with substrate smeared all u...
