Re: Naked molting, dug up but alive

I had a similar situation but didn't catch him until his little bottom had dried up with eco earth stuck to him. He had drug himself to the front of the tank (I believe to be seen by me better because he knew he needed help which makes me cry just thinking about) I did all the step you did. Though h...

HUGE lesson learned

I have 6 crustacean kids. 2 (small PP's) have been down molting for at least 8 weeks. During which time I really needed to do a deep clean. I was sure they had died though had no death smell which I don't put much weight in that smell since I had my only death without stink. Anywho each time I wante...

Re: Conditions at Petco

Hermit-Yote, I bet you make sure the Hermit Crab conditions at your store are tip top shape  Do they have certain people they call when they need to give them away or do they post it anywhere? I am really glad it is just a myth that they don't actually just throw them out. The person who told ...

Re: can an e live in a turbo shell

I have to chuckle because I just purchased several "D" shaped shells for my 2 "E"'s which ended up costing me $20 for 6 of them. At the time I really didn't have that extra money to spend but I kept thinking they were needing new shells. I put them in the shell shop and they ran over to them...

Why sand

Is it ok to just have EE or is there a specific need to mix in play sand too?

Cocoa liners

Has anyone used those cocoa liners that people use in their hanging baskets for their crabitat? I don't know if they are safe but man they'd be nice for climbing.

Re: EE everywhere

Ahh you guys made feel better. I thought maybe it was just my guys. Everyone's pics look soooo nice and them mine is trashed. They even have managed to make trenches all the way around the edge. I will probably get the clamp suction cups. My shower caddy won't stay up either but I've seen pics where...

EE everywhere

I look at all these beautiful and clean crabitat a with their clear glass and clean plants and other decorations and think "what am I doing wrong". My guys destroy everything! They manage to get EE splattered up and down the glass. Everything they climb on -which is everything- is covered in EE. I c...

A lot of E's can be jerks sometimes. I have 2 "jerks" but I still love them to bits.
