Re: Loveable Exotics (coming soon)
This sounds awesome, and while I love my PP's, I would also love to get my hands on some violas or ruggies as well.

Re: dumbest things people have said about your crabs/other p
"You'd be a good mother, having all those pets" Ugh, so glad I've not dealt with this yet.... although I'm a horrible person and would probably say "I used to have kids, but they vanished. Not sure whether to blame the crabs or the snake." I do dearly want a ball python though, already have the tan...

Re: Corn snake *new pics*
Dunno if this works for corn snakes, but this is a blog post from the breeder I'm going to be buying my ball from:

Re: Corn snake *new pics*
This was the first she's pooped for us. Still no interest in a f/t mouse though. Should we have waited longer to try to feed her after her shed? I think she got all the shed off but I will check over the pieces just in case. This morning the acurite is reading 58%. High is 62%, low is 57%. I'm thin...

Re: What's on today's menu & recipe sharing
Today's meal is: Kale, moss (don't have a moss pit, but do have some growing in a planter downstairs), carrot, a piece of baby portabella, some banana peach baby food, a couple dead crickets, some coconut tofu dessert stuff (I checked, all the ingredients looked fine), and some cuttlefish. Let's see...

Re: LiveHermitCrabs.com
Patreon is similar, but instead of having a project that needs funding, you fund the person themselves, if that makes any sense. I've seen a lot of webcomic artists, regular artists, webcast people, and lots of others do this, basically you can donate X amount, or X a month, to help with bills, or w...

Re: LiveHermitCrabs.com
I'd rather support breeders too (if there were more than 2 of them in the world to succeed, lmso) but it takes years for the babies to even be big enough to sell so if LHC falls through I just won't get any more exotics and will only get re-homed PPs (if I ever need any more than those I have now)....

Re: My Straw (Perlatus) baby thread. Update: Megalopa stage
That sucks about the brine shrimp... I suppose if one of the people in the US wanted to skirt around customs laws, they could buy it and ship it to you, but that could get a bit iffy...
I hope your breeding goes well, I'd love to see baby strawberries.

Re: LiveHermitCrabs.com
That's not a bad idea though all in all it all still supports wild harvests. The only reason I was getting more was so I could study the Aussies and so my 2 straws would have more friends. After this, I'm not getting any more crabs unless they are re-homes; I don't wanna support the harvesting anym...

Re: LiveHermitCrabs.com
I think at this point if someone here that was a mod, or someone most of the people here knew was reliable and communicative, we'd probably help fund a kickstarter for them to get a business started up for the imports. I would, and I'm not planning on buying any new crabs for a while; I think honest...

Re: LiveHermitCrabs.com
oh boy! I happened to email the division of fish and wildlife, because I was interested in possibly starting up my own business,( which probably isnt going to happen anyway bc I really want to move back to Arizona from NJ full time) and they said that they do not regulate exotic hermit crabs. So, I...

Re: The Hermit Crab Garden ~ New Flowers are Ready!
Very handy site, I will bookmark it. One thing I would recommend though, is to have a page or whatnot of what you CAN get, but is not available right now, so if the person is looking for something in particular (like oak leaves, carnations, etc), they can see you will have it, just not right now.
